CLEVELAND LeBron James remembers how he felt before his first playoff game a year ago today. "I was a little nervous," James said. Once the butterflies were gone, the Cavaliers All-Star forward picked up where he left off at the end of the season.

Nervous is not a feeling LeBron James has very often. But before stepping onto basketball's biggest stage last spring, he was a little shaky not knowing what to expect in his first trip to the NBA playoffs.

YOUNGSTOWN — Don’t tell LeBron James the month of April is solely for the NBA playoffs. Even James, who along with the rest of the Cavaliers will take on the Washington Wizards at 12:30 Sunday in the first round of the playoffs, couldn’t resist football in the spring.

LeBron James has put the brakes on this summer's King for Kids Bikeathon because of scheduling conflicts.

LeBron James has put the brakes on this summer's King for Kids Bikeathon because of scheduling conflicts. The ride for children and families was edged off the June calendar because of competing events that require the star's time, said James' publicist, Keith Estabrook.
