Cleveland's All-Star forward ended uncertainty about his status with the U.S. national team on Tuesday night by saying he will play in next month's FIBA America's Tournament, where the Americans will try to qualify for the 2008 Olympics.

While I was voting for Ben Askrew for the Best Male Collegiate Athelete ESPY award, one of the next categories to vote for was the "Hummer Like Nothing Else" award. I kept looking for pictures of Jenna Jameson but all that was present was Lebron James and some other random athletes. I guess Lebron would deserve it since it did suck a lot!

With all the lame Kobe stories floating around lately it's nice to see more Lebron. My favorite one is appropriately nicknamed the "Thousand Island Dressing" dunk.

While speculations runs wild about celebrities with bulging bellies like Nicole Richie - three sports celebrities officially had babies this past week and, until Nicole, Paris and Lindsay officially give birth, we are forced to settle for baby news from Lebron James, Jeff Gordon and Tiger Woods.

Kevin Pelton of SUPERSONICS.com writes, "After completing two days in Portland, where he worked out for the Blazers, (Greg) Oden arrived in Seattle Thursday night. He will not work out for the Sonics, but is spending time with the team’s front office so both player and team can get to know more about the other."

The most interesting to me are the Lakers and Cavaliers proposals. I am not sure that either team wins in an Amare / KG swap… but pair Kobe with KG and potentially keep Lamar Odom - and the Lakers have a solid team. Add KG to Lebron and Boobie Gibson… and the weak east is their’s for the taking (again)
